This policy explains what personal data the Pipeline mobile application (com.prokara.pipeline) collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and the rights you hold over it. The application is published by Prokara, which is the controller of the data described below and can be reached at support@prokara.com.
How the application works. Pipeline presents the Pipeline web service, hosted at pipeline.prokara.com, inside the application. The data described here is submitted to and held by that service. The application itself stores nothing on your device beyond the cookies, cached pages and local storage the service needs in order to keep you signed in and to load quickly.
Account data. When an account is created for you, or when you sign in, the following are collected and held: your name, your email address, your mobile number, and the credentials used to authenticate you. This data is used to identify you, to give you access to your account, to contact you about your account, and to recover access when you are locked out.
Data you enter. The records, notes, files and other content you create or upload while using the application are held so that they can be shown back to you and to the other members of your organisation who are entitled to see them.
Location. The application requests your device location only where a feature of the service asks for it, and only after your device has prompted you and you have allowed it. Location is used to complete the action you asked for at that moment. Permission can be withdrawn at any time in the Android settings for the application, and no location is collected once it is withdrawn.
Technical data. Each request to the service records your IP address, the date and time, the pages requested, and basic device and application version information. These records are used to operate the service, to diagnose faults, and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
Payments. Where the service takes a payment, the payment is processed by an external payment provider. Card numbers and other full payment credentials are entered directly with that provider and are never received or stored by Prokara. What is retained is the record that a payment was made, its amount and date, and a reference supplied by the provider.
Cookies and local storage. Cookies and browser local storage are used to keep you signed in, to remember your settings, and to hold the state of a page while you use it. They are not used for advertising. Clearing the application's storage in the Android settings removes them and signs you out.
No advertising and no sale of data. Your personal data is not sold, rented or traded. It is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
Who the data is shared with. Your data is shared only with the hosting, payment and messaging providers engaged to run the service, each acting on instruction and bound to keep the data confidential; with the organisation that owns your account, where your account belongs to one; and with a public authority where disclosure is required by law.
Where the data is held. The data is held on servers operated for Prokara, and access to it is restricted to the staff who need it to run and support the service. Traffic between the application and the service is encrypted in transit.
How long it is kept. Account data and the content you create are kept for as long as your account is open. Technical request records are kept for a limited period for fault diagnosis and fraud prevention. Billing and transaction records are kept after an account closes for as long as applicable tax, accounting and anti-fraud law requires.
Your rights. You may ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask that its use be restricted, or object to its use. Write to support@prokara.com from the email address registered to your account. A request is answered within 30 days.
Deleting your account. The full account deletion procedure, what is removed, and what is retained afterwards are set out at app.memberwash.com/Pipeline/accountdelete.html.
Children. The application is not directed at children and accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under 13. Where it comes to light that such an account exists, it and its data are deleted.
Changes to this policy. This policy may be revised. The revised version is published at this address and takes effect on the date shown below.
