This page explains how to request deletion of your Pipeline account and the personal data held with it, and what happens to that data once the request is received. It applies to the Pipeline mobile application (com.prokara.pipeline) and to accounts created through it.
How to request deletion. Send an account deletion request to support@prokara.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Send it from the email address registered to your account, or include the mobile number registered to the account, so that the request can be verified as yours. No account, app installation, or sign in is required to send this request.
Verification. Receipt of your request will be confirmed, and you may be contacted to verify your identity before the account is deleted. Verification protects your account against deletion requested by someone else.
What is deleted. Once the request is completed, the following are permanently removed: your account profile, including name, email address and mobile number; your user settings and preferences; the records and activity history created under your account; any files and notes attached to those records; and the application session and device records linked to the account.
What is kept. Billing and transaction records, invoices and receipts, and records kept for the prevention of fraud and misuse are retained after deletion for as long as applicable tax, accounting and anti-fraud law requires. These records are held in a restricted form and are not used to identify or contact you. Aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you or to any individual account may be kept indefinitely.
Timeframe. Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days of verification. Backup copies of the deleted data are removed within a further 90 days, as backups age out of rotation.
Before you request deletion. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. The records and history held under your account are lost and cannot be restored, transferred or exported afterwards. Any subscription time remaining on the account is forfeited and cannot be refunded. An active subscription should be cancelled before requesting deletion. Creating a new account later will not restore any of the above.
Where the account is shared. If your account belongs to an organisation, deleting it removes your personal access and profile. Records that the organisation owns remain with the organisation, and the organisation administrator should be contacted about those.
Removing the app. Deleting the Pipeline app from your device does not delete your account or the data held on the server. To have that data deleted, send a request using the address above.
